I'm a little excited for this title. Due to the issues of being broke I missed out on Legend of Zelda Four Swords, and since seems to be based off of that premise, alongside online functionality, I really want to play this game. I saw nothing of the trailer, rather I saw the actual gameplay in the Nintendo Treehouse afterwards. It looks fun and quirky.
This is a brilliant idea that none of us actually thought of despite how obvious it is. Paper Mario is a popular RPG spin off involving the plumber that began during the N64 era. Mario and Luigi is another popular RPG spin off beginning in the Gameboy Advance era and has graced the handhelds in numerous ways, while Paper Mario was mostly console releases excluding Sticker Star. Most people I've seen either likes one or the other, I'm a Paper Mario guy myself, however I do want to dip my toe into Mario & Luigi saga, and this game may help that a lot. It looks fun and creative for sure, and the banter between Bowser and Paper Bowser, two different characters, seems funny enough to invest in the humor of the game.
While I didn't have a chance to see the trailer of this game, I heard plenty of info from the trailer. This game, like all Kingdom Hearts games looks to be awesome, however having never finished an actual Kingdom Hearts game, it also stays as a reminder to FINISH the other games. That and I don't have a PS4 YET. Still a large fan of the series though.
I saw the gameplay in the Nintendo Treehouse event first before seeing the trailer. Not sure why but the trailer looks like it has crappy graphics, but the gameplay at the event the graphics look better. Also I've heard mixed reports about the controls feeling clunky, some say they are odd but fun, while some can't get over the fact they are different. I'm personally excited for these controls, as when I played the demo for Wonderful 101 the controls were odd in that game as well (also made by Platnium who are also working on Star Fox Zero). Also in the gameplay, the environments look far bigger and more expansive, putting a point for both mission and exploration. Plus, the Arwing version of Yoshi, I mean we yell because he isn't in a Mario game and hate when he is in a Star Fox.... I don't understand people anymore. I WILL be getting this game. I'll probably enjoy the game too, but I'll save the rest for a review.
Um, duh? Of course seeing more information for this game is my number 1. That is all there is to it. Build your own shelter, better custom weapons, and immortal companions. Only Fawkes could have made this better. I still need to plug in and play Fallout New Vegas, but other then that yeah I'm stoked for this game.
